The Kristin Callahan Quintet will take you on a journey back in time to the era of the formidable Peggy Lee. Lee was an American jazz composer, singer, and actress. Callahan will sing some of Lee’s classics and originals, such as “Fever,” “Why Don’t You Do Right,” “It’s a Good Day,” and “In the Days of Our Love.” A Maryland native, Callahan started her career in Baltimore and is now performing throughout the East Coast, attracting many of the finest touring and recording artists. With two albums already under her belt, Callahan is working on her third album, “A Burning Kiss,” that continues the theme of exploring love in all its facets. ($)
