This two day CGBP Exam Prep Boot Camp provides an introduction or a refresher to the content tested by the CGBP Exam. Find out what you know and what you don’t know, so you can prepare to successfully pass the CGBP Exam.
A team of NASBITE Certified Trainers, experienced in all four domains of the CGBP practice delineation, will provide an overview of global business management, global marketing, supply chain management, and trade finance. The CGBP Trainers will discuss topics including global culture, Incoterms, international documentation, trade compliance, payment methods, credit management, financing exports, foreign exchange, export readiness, mitigating risk, foreign market identification, entry mode, partner selection, and the marketing mix.

CGBP Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp

Are you considering developing a credit or non-credit CGBP course at your institution? This two-day intensive CGBP training will focus on providing the training and tools to help faculty and program staff develop a CGBP training program: ways to integrate CGBP training into the classroom or executive training programs, identify and train faculty and presenters, and discuss specific tools and resources to support CGBP classes or programs. We will also work through CGBP exam topics (tasks and knowledge statements) to help train participants on key topics. The training will use CGBP cases and team exercises you can implement in the classroom. Plan to join this fun, interactive workshop and help launch the CGBP at your school or trade center! Topics include:

NASBITE CGBP certification overview
Implementing a CGBP training program: best practices for credit, and non-credit programs
Faculty Issues: how to select and train faculty and instructors for CGBP courses
Accreditation and Certification: discussion of the NASBITE CGBP program accreditation, trainer certification, and learning resource certification.  Learn when the time may be right to access these additional programs.
CGBP Resources:  examples of course outlines, textbooks, exercises to teach CGBP topics
Task and Knowledge Training: specific training on topics from the Global Management, Global Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Trade Finance domains so participants better understand topics and how to teach them.
Sample 50 question exam: participants will take a 50 question sample exam to better understand the structure of the CGBP exam and benchmark your current level of knowledge.
